Summary of Duties:

Under the direction of the Administrator/Director of Care or designate performs scheduling as it relates to staff and records attendance information.

Work Performed:

  • Processes, prepares and monitors for replacement, staffing schedules and schedule change requests for approval by the manager.
  • Prepares and verifies reports for submission to payroll as needed.
  • Updates Kronos schedule daily for scheduling exceptions. 
  • Prepares 24 hour staffing assignment.
  • Prepares monthly Dearness Home newsletter.
  • Tracks/prepares monthly/weekly attendance reports for management.
  • Supports respective manager regarding arrangement of students, assigns to preceptor in collaboration with the Director of Care. 
  • Liase with Corporate Human Resources to co-ordinate City Hall Orientation for new staff. 
  • Liase with management and monitor co-ordination/scheduling of all staffing education.
  • Reports staffing issues/conflicts/resolutions to perspective manager. 
  • Maintains highly confidential information regarding staff. 
  • Maintains Fan Out List.
  • Co-ordinates staff Identification photos. 
  • Provides back up to the Receptionist Clerk as required.
  • Performs other related tasks as assigned.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma, with emphasis on business credits, or equivalent.
  • A minimum of one year scheduling experience is essential.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets and various software.

Compensation and Other Information:

Start: $22.77/hr
6 months or 910 hrs: $25.06/hr
12 months or 1820 hrs: $27.60/hr
30 months or 4550hrs: $29.87/hr
Annual salary rate: $47,362 - $62,128.
